Winter Shelter 1/16 - 1/17
Old St. Mary’s Cathedral and Holy Family Chinese Mission will support the San Francisco Interfaith Council’s Winter Shelter Program again by preparing and serving meals to the homeless. Volunteers are needed at St. Boniface Church, 133 Golden Gate Ave., San Francisco. This is a hands‐on opportunity to help the homeless. We will prepare and serve meals to 100 homeless men each night. Annual Chinese New Year’s Mass and Ceremonial Tribute to the Ancestors 1/29
Join us for our annual Chinese New Year Mass Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 11:00AM. We will be joined by St. mary's School Choir in celebrating a New Year of happiness, good health and prosperity and paying tribute to our ancestors. We will have a traditional Chinese luncheon following the Mass in the auditorium.

RCIA
Are you or anyone you know interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith or becoming Catholic? If so, the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) process will begin
soon. The RCIA process is a series of meetings in which the participants can discover the mysteries of the Catholic Faith by studying the teachings and Traditions of the Catholic Faith. You may sign up for the RCIA process by contacting Fr. Bart Landry, CSP at 415-288-3817.

Martin de Porres Dinners
Every third Sunday of the month Old St. Mary’s parishioners prepare and serve a meal for the poor at San Francisco’s St. Martin de Porres Dining Room. For more information, please call us at 415-288-3800. If you wish to contribute money to purchase food (600-700 meals are served), donations are gratefully accepted at the Paulist Center Bookstore.
